Well you could try converting the file to a different format using
ffmpeg (sorry, not sure of the commands to do that), and see if that
helps - the sync issue is probably related to particular file
types/codecs.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
1) Ubuntu (Karmic Koala) 2) Build wizard PPA 3) Openshot 1.0.0 

I created a 4 minute video with my flip mino HD and had no problems exporting it to youtube and youtube-HD formats and uploading them to the web. But I created a 16 minute video and the video and audio go out of sync over time. This even though the original video is in sync (and when I render it in PiTiVi it stays in sync, but of course I'd rather be using openshot!). Even in the preview pane it goes out of sync, and it stays out of sync in the exported video.
