Actually, the text in the message is right. ;-)

After canceling an export, the file is not removed. Most of the time,
the half-generated file actually even shows something! So, canceling an
export should also remove the (half) exported file.

Bug description:
When export is still running, and you press cancel, the window closes as expected, but then comes a dialog box saying "export has finished". It's simply the wrong message. I'd say we disable it completely.
