OpenShot dropping support for Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10

Hello everyone!
As you may have already read, we might be dropping support for Ubuntu
8.04 and 8.10 in our next release (version 1.1). The reason is...
Debian requires that we discontinue support for Glade (which is the
library we use to load our GUI from XML files). If we stop using
Glade, we will switch to Gtkbuilder, which requires GTK 2.16 (for
OpenShot to work). GTK 2.16 is available in Ubuntu 9.04+.

The only work-around to maintain compatibility with Ubuntu 8.04 and
8.10 is to manually create some of the GUI with Python, instead of
using just the XML files. This seems like a step backwards, and would
waste a lot of time. I'm sure a few users will be upset that we no
longer have support for older distributions, but 91% of our downloads
are for Ubuntu 9.04 and higher. If our goal is to be accepted into
Debian (and then Ubuntu 10.04), we must move forward with Gtkbuilder.

If you have any concerns or questions, now is the time to speak up. =)

Thanks,
-Jonathan
