This patch has been committed to the trunk.  There were a few issues
with it that I had to fix.  The hpane was not being restored correctly,
sense the dialog was being rendered prior to resizing the widgets.  So I
refactored the code a bit, and fixed it.  Thanks!

what about to save the size of the clip properties window? i use to resize it to have a significant view of the preview but each time i have to resize the window.
