All dependencies on the page are installed and current versions. No
preview audio.

I see in the description for libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio "Simple
DirectMedia Layer (with X11 and PulseAudio options)" -- is it possible
that it is trying to use a PulseAudio option, even though PA isn't in
the system? Is there a switch, or config file somewhere to force it to
ignore PA?

Bug description:
There is no sound when previewing a video. I didn't have the audio on the track muted, and pavucontrol showed no sound coming out of the app.
