I have also experienced this problem. Sometimes the slider will
eventually come back but it's not consistent. Seems to be triggered by
changing the zoom and clicking on the time line back and forth until it
works.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
I created a project about 30 min long, then saved it. After I loaded later the saved project, everything was OK, except for the slider on the timeline, which does not move forwards during previewing the video. If I click on the timeline, the slider also doesn't show there, as it did before (or in a new project). It moves only if I drag it with mouse.

Opensuse 11.2 KDE4,
Openshot 1.1.0, downloaded with bzr branch
