Can you please try using a few different types of video files, instead
of just the .mov file.  Let's see if this is specific to the media
format / codec, or just an installation issue with OpenShot.  Thanks!

Hello i using debian testing and openshot version 1.1.3 installed from debian multimedia repositories programm crashes after adding effect on .mov file
