I think that someway i also tried that because when i try to install the
frei0r plugins it stated that it was already installed:

frei0r-plugins ya está en su versión más reciente.

I will still trying to make it work, but i found the avlinux live-cd
which has a nice stable version of openshot (meanwhile we don't have rqd
stability on lucid)

Also i tried a ubuntu studio distro with alternative installing method
of openshot which showed also very stable.

Bug description:
I have been testing OpenShot in Lucid since the betas. And it always crash when I use the "cartoon effect". After play for some hours in OpenShot, I discover that MLT is the problem, so then I saw that the effects that use the "frei0r-plugins" make crash the program. I search in the Synactic and it was not installed, after installing it, the problem has solved. Maybe you need to add "frei0r-plugins" dependence in the package.
