Additionally muting/disabling video don't get applied either until
preview has been paused/restarted.

Bug description:
It becomes difficult to quickly preview a transition or an effect and decide if it's the right one to use if you have to pause and start the video again to see how it looks with it applied (if you are already previewing the video)
