Right click on your clip in the time time and select 'Clip Properties'.
This will open a dialogue - the effects tab within this dialogue has a
remove button.

Bug description:
When I add an effect to a clip, there is no way to remove it from the clip.

Should be an option, like the "remove transition" lo remove an effect added to a clip
