OK, that's a point, but there could for example be a new tab in which
you can drag an edited clip. In this tab you could save just all the
clip properties as they are used in the timeline. This should be relativ
easy or am I missing something again?

Bug description:
Hi folks,
When I import a large File from a camcorder or so, I normaly cut it with the razor and rearrange the whole thing.
Now it would be pretty handy to have the ability to move a cutted clip back to the project files, rename it and
put it back into my timeline later.
