[Bug 510513] Re: Import Kino project file

Instead of a tight integration with OpenShot, it would be great to see a
tool (for OpenShot) that could convert various file formats into
OpenShot's (human-readable) file format.

That tool would then be tightly integrated with OpenShot, but also run
from the command line.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
Hello Jonathan,

I wrote some code to import files from Kino project file. I made it to the same branch where I had made the renaming feature so they are both in this new bzr diff attachment (0.9.52)

----- short description -----
There is one more entry in the Project Files popup menu: Import Kino Project.

Select the Kino project file after which the data concerning the video files are read along with the "in" and "out" points. The files are appended into the current project (if they are not there) and the clips are inserted (anyway) into the first empty track found. If there are not empty tracks one will be created and the clips are appended there.

I have a lot of unedited videomaterial waiting. I use Kino to preview the files and trim the clips because it's very suitable for that. Then I save the kino project file and now it contains the names of the files (along with in and out points) that I will import into Openshot.
