There is now a new theme, especially for smaller screens, so that
shouldn't be a problem.

Bug description:
when I install and open Openshot for the first time, the first pist is hidden. See attached screenshot.

Maybe a solution could be to put the elevator (see red arrow on the right-side of the screenshot) on the bottom by default.
