Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Fix Released
Bug description:
Hello Jonathan,
I have found another problem last evening and this one is a pretty big one. I have a syncing problem. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, so I am probably best off sending my project file to you so you can see what is happening.
But to make a short explanation here, what I am doing is taking a video intro from an old TV program and I am transitioning into my own "Drive In Theater" logo which will transition in and replace the indentifying portion of the TV program, however the kicker is that I want the original music to still play into my custom logo screen.
What I did was create two copies of the clip from the TV program intro, the first one I set up for audio only and the video is shut off. The second clip I turned off the audio and edited it down to the transition point. Finally on a separate track I have a still of my custom intro (which I made using your titling feature on a black background screen BTW). The transition I used is the rectangle in to out.
I managed to get it all together and it DOES work, but only about 1/3rd the time. The video sometimes goes out of sync with the main audio track and the fade in occurs earlier or later than it should. However there is NO hiccup or other disturbance in the audio. The audio quality is fine.
I looked at some of the issues related to out of sync video & audio on your site but I don't know what I am doing here with it comes to doing things in the terminal.
The original intro video file has a .flv extension. I grabbed it YouTube.
I read that there were sync problems with prior versions. I have version 0.9.22 of OpenShot, that is the latest version, correct?
I am hoping there is a simple fix to this because I don't think that this was an involved edit, but there needs to be some kind of precision involved. While this edit is something that I will not do too often for my use I do still want it want it to work.
Let me know if there is anything I can do on my end.

Hello Jukingo
I am converting this to a bug report and referring it to Audio Syncing
I have started flagging all audio-sync bugs to make it easier to fix them.
Best wishes, Helen
