Re: [Bug 642471] Re: Custom layouts make videos move

It sounds like you are only setting the first key-frame, and not the ending
key-frame. That would explain why it slowly moves and changes transparency.
Check and see if you are setting both key-frames in the custom layout
section and let us know if that fixes it. Good luck!

Custom layouts make videos move
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/642471
You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot
Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
When overlaying a video on top of another one using a custom layout, the overlayed video shifts and moves around when the project is rendered. In fact, setting a custom transparency screws things up too, as over time the overlayed video with the custom alpha becomes more and more opaque. This is reproducible every time.

I actually have an example video right here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gdqn1e7_voI

It's one of my own videos, and I think the bug is pretty funny, but at the same time it's a serious problem. Anyway, here are the steps to reproduce:

1) Import a clip.
2) Import another clip.
3) Set a custom layout on one of the clips so that it'll be smaller and off to the corner somewhere, showing the majority of the background clip.
4) Set a custom alpha too.
5) Make sure the clips in question last about 2 minutes long.
6) Render your video, and watch as the overlayed video dances across your screen (just like in the example).

I'm using Arch Linux, and Openshot version 1.1.3.
