Reversing a clip places the wrong part if it's trimmed

Title:
playing backwards/reverse part of long video

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  1) Ubuntu 10.04
2) PPA addition and terminal install
3) 1.2.2. (whatever comes from the PPA)

Problem:

original videoclip has some length. Let's call it the "Parent".
I cut only a part of the original videoclip and keep only this in my timeline.
Let's call this part the "child"
I dublicated the "child"
I tried to play in reverse the "child" clip by changing it's properties...but what I got was reverse playing of another part of the "Parent" !!!!

The only solution to this was to first export the "child" and create a new video, and then take that new video, reverse it, and then export it again. Let's call it the "reverse-child"
Then combine the two new videos to get what I wanted.
So I have:
- original clip
- child clip
- reverse child clip

No way to generate the reverse-child at the same project with the original "Parent" clip. It needs to be created having as input the previous exported "child"

P.S. all the videos (Parent, child, reverse-child) were created with Openshot with the export profile of Vimeo HD / 720 25 frames / high quality. No reason to attache an example. Happens with all the videos I have (all of them however are Vimeo HD).
