Hi Andy,

Nice hearing for you and thanks for your great work!  I'll try and provide
you a short video clip (as soon as I can) for your testing as I know it can
be difficult to re-create a problem.  I'm also a development engineer.  I
have no problem editing my video clips when I installed Ubuntu 10.10 and
then installed OpenShot 2.2.1. although I do have problems when I try and
edit a 2 hour movie but I already reported those problems and that's a
separate issue.  I only have a problem with my video clips when I try
viewing them in OpenShot using the AVLinux 4.2 installation.

  I downloaded and installed AVLinux 4.2 and imported 10 AVCHD lite clips
from my Panasonic ZS7 camera into OpenShot.  When I clicked on the imported
clip to display it, the last approximate 2 seconds of the video, the display
went white.  I then drug all the clips to the timeline and displayed them,
all of them displayed a white screen during the last 2 seconds of each clip.
