[Bug 769512] Re: first frame mostly unaffected by transitions, effects etc...

I may have exaggerated. Let's put it so : "whatever do I can never be sure that the first frame of any given clip won't show, and mostly it will show at some time, when I slightly move the clip or the neighboring clips, or with no apparent reason".
There's another report on the same subject, with rotations : "Rotating video gives incorrect 1st and last frame"
There seems to be basically a problem with first frames in non-linear editing.

Title:
first frame mostly unaffected by transitions, effects etc...

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
I'm using openshot 1.3.0 from the ppa on Ubuntu 10.04.
When I use transitions, effects, animations (rotation, zoom etc..) the first frame of the clip always shows : I get the first frame (or several frames sometimes) and then the rest of the clip with proper effects. This doesn't go after rendering, and you can't miss it when you watch the video. It doesn't always happen but almost. Sometimes I just move the clips a little and it disappears but mostly it comes back later. I can't figure out any scheme, it seems to happen randomly. So basically I can't use any transitions/effects/animation at all.
Worse : when a clip starts on a track while there's another clip running on a upper track, the first frame shows anyway. Actually whatever I do the first frame of any clip always shows, so that I must stick to one track and no effects. There's not a lot of point in using openshot with only one track and no effects^^.

(another unimportant bug : when you export in ogg theora/vorbis, if
there's only audio and a black screen at the beginning of the video,
the audio will be normal while the video will start immediately at the
  first "real" (not black) frame)
