This problem occurs with me as well:

Ubuntu 11.04
Openshot 1.3.1-1_all

Exporting a clip (at this time, trying to export to MPEG-2 (DVD
Widescreen)) looks like it is going to work ok, progress bar fills up,
but when it reaches 100%, all you can click on is Cancel and there is no
popup/notification that it is complete. It is utilizing 70-90% CPU and
about ~500MB RAM and the status is "Sleeping". It has been this way for
hours on a 3.0Ghz 4GB RAM machine.

As a comparison, Kdenlive worked fine with this clip and exported to
MPEG-2, but I would like to use Openshot if possible.

Bug description:
  When finished to export video (I try dvd-mpeg2) the windows don't say OK-Finished, the bar at the bottom appear near 100%.
