[Bug 700806] Re: Installed codecs not detected correctly
I had the exact same bug with Linux Mint 10 (based upon ubuntu),
similarly resolved by installing libavformat-extra-52, and I agree with
Ville Ranki: either dependency, or pointing the user towards the right
package, and not packages which are already installed on the system.

Bug description:
Trying to export youtube-hd video causes dialog:
The following formats/codecs are missing from your system:
libx264
libmp3lame
You will not be able to use the selected export profile. You will
need to install the missing formats/codecs or choose a different
export profile.
I have libx264-98 2:0.98.165+git and libmp3lame0 3.98.4-0ubuntu1 installed.
Ubuntu 10.10 x86_32 and OpenShot 1.2.2
