[Bug 700806] Re: Installed codecs not detected correctly
Hi,
Normally, you have a message error which display the dependencies missing and a direct link for knowing how to install it and which one.
Anyway and actually, I am working on a tool who will help the user to know which are installed or not.
But that's right that could be not clear for the user.

Bug description:
Trying to export youtube-hd video causes dialog:
The following formats/codecs are missing from your system:
libx264
libmp3lame
You will not be able to use the selected export profile. You will
need to install the missing formats/codecs or choose a different
export profile.
I have libx264-98 2:0.98.165+git and libmp3lame0 3.98.4-0ubuntu1 installed.
Ubuntu 10.10 x86_32 and OpenShot 1.2.2
