Could you give use more explanations ?  i.e. your distribution,the version of mlt, ffmpeg, the type of file that you 're using,......
Like this, it is a bit weird for us.

  Clip properties - lenght fail after 9999 seconds

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:

Bug description:
  When I open a prperties window of a clip, if I go on lenght section,
  if my clip is extract from a  long video, i can see only 9999,00
  seconds. I try to change to houres:min:sec but is not possible.
