[Bug 923458] [NEW] Saved Project does not work as Needed or Expected

Public bug reported:

Have a previous bug report on this behavior. But this is a report with a
different setup to replicate with clarity and confirm this issue.

Totally new install of Ubuntu 11.10 amd 64 desktop .Installed from CD from download from Ubuntu web site.
Allowed updates during install. All those were completed with no errors.
This would be the normal path that new users to Ubuntu and Open Shot most likely would pursue.

Previous bug reported was with Unbuntu 11.10 amd 64 SERVER.

Installed Open Shot from Ubuntu Software Center.

Did a reboot

Ran openshot did 2 minutes and thrity seconds of editting from 10
imported video "clips". Did save of default project as a name and then
did a save AS project and named it.

Closed openshot and re-opened it. When opening either of the saved
projects NO imported files from the project are listed for EITHER
project.

Other bug reports and other WWW discussions speak of Unity being an
issue for simliar issues. That we should use GNOME desktop.

I would like this to work without a great deal of jumping thru hoops.

I did this as barebones as possible so we can as a community relsolve
this. Willing to provide what ever is needed for this to be troubleshoot
and RESOLVED as quickly as possilbe.

End-users will walk away from this product if they cannot come back on
the computer re-open a project and have to redo all the work they
THOUGHT was saved as a project.

All the files reside on the same hard drive as the operating system.

** Affects: openshot (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
