Everyone,

We are at a key moment in the cycle: 10 days before release, the moment
where testing OpenStack release candidates for your use case can make
the difference between something that could have been better and
something that just works. Next week it will be too late to realize
Essex contains a bug in your specific use case !

All projects have issued their RC1 version. Packages are available for
testing in versions under development of major distributions. With the
master branches now tracking Folsom development, some people have asked
how they can still use Devstack to test Essex. Jay wrote a blogpost
explaining how to do it:
