Message #00045
[Bug 834172] [NEW] dnsmasq does not include domain name in hostnames
Public bug reported:
After registering a bunch of systems into cobbler, dnsmasq gives out the
correct IP, however, the hostname is not resolvable by its FQDN, only
its hostname.
adding a parameter such as:
domain=canonical.com
to /etc/cobbler/dnsmasq.template fixes this
Dunno if this is expected behavior or if there should be a debconf
question for this, as ensemble relies on a resolvable system name (from
the cobbler point of view)
** Affects: orchestra
Importance: Undecided

Status: New
** Changed in: orchestra
