What's the best way to get a design into a drupal template? Someone should
probably talk to the art department and start to lay the groundwork for a
cooperative >existence (please don't just walk in and demand a design,
remember we need to work within their processes too =). I don't know what
Drupal templates look like, so someone better qualified should >broach this
topic with the designers. Maybe there's a designer out there who has worked
on Drupal templates before?

I don't know a terrible amount about how well this would actually work to
learn how to theme Drupal (as I've never had to mess with creating a theme)
but I'd suggest that some motivated individual from the design team get
Drupal running on their local machine and install the Zen
theme<http://drupal.org/project/zen> and
have a party. If anyone needs help setting up a stock Drupal install give a
shout and I can help. I have to run now, but I suppose it would be good to
copy this to the design mailing list too
