Hello all,

We have Drupal set up with a theme over at http://beta.theosdf.org.

Unless there are major objections, this is the base theme we're going to 
hack to get what we want. The very first step here is to get this puppy 
ready for public consumption. This will require specifically 3 things:

   * A front landing page
         o will have a space for a featured video
         o will host the latest or a featured blog post/article
   * A blog-listing (index) page. This is currently what we see as the
     front page.
         o until further notice comments will be disabled
   * A regular template for static pages

Number 3 is the simplest one.

Keep in mind that we're taking the minimalist approach with the 
look-and-feel of the site. I've attached a quick draft of the new logo. 
The accent color is #2eb4fd.

So we don't run into issues, I put the code at 
https://code.launchpad.net/~daimoneze/osdf/drupal7-theme. We should be 
using some kind of version control for several good reasons. I'd prefer 
bazaar, but I'm open to others if people prefer. See 
http://wiki.theosdf.org/index.php?title=Contributing_Code. I recommend 
setting up a simple local webserver to help developing. If you aren't 
sure how to do this I would be happy to help you.
