i think we should meet up to discuss the objectives for this phase of
the site, detail a feature list which will meet those objectives, and
lastly create a design to meaningfully and intuitively expose those
features to users, rather than make design changes piecemeal.

Bug description:
  The reddit and contact congress widgets should be moved off the
  homepage as it makes the page very busy. We may need to register a
  blueprint for the creation of the blog index.
