As an additional comment on this issue; since it is really two issues in
one.

'oship' is the platform and the name SHOULD be forced.

This is so that every REAL application can reference the oship.ar and
oship.termserver without hesitation.  

Remember; there are very real possibilities that there will be multiple
applications running on one oship server.

The end-user app is one like the bptrack application.  

If you are a health authority collecting information on CHF, Diabetes
and back injury; then you may have three applications with different
sets of catalogs and authentication utilities.   But they ALL run
against the oship server and it's archetypes and terminologies.
