Sure.  Yes, it is time consuming to navigate.  It was time consuming
to create too.
But many people do like videos whereas others prefer text.

The mailing list model has sort of fallen out of use with more and
more people using social media platforms.  The FB and Twitter feeds
are primarily announcement things.  You are encouraged to use Google
Plus for support questions and conversations.  It is easier to spread
this to community as well as re-share specific topics with other
communities.
