Oxide call notes - 21 - 28 July 2015

*1. Release*

Blink has been branched upstream. Oxide 1.8 stable release is being
prepared for release as a stable update to all supported versions of Ubuntu
Oxide 1.9 sealed by now as well.

*2. Features*

Last 1.9 branches making it:
- power_saving, aka screen blanking prevention

Didn't make it, but should be backported:
- fillpicker-accept-nullcheck & handle-noncommitted-navigation (2 crasher
fixes)

*3. Bugs*

See above.
OSK repeated word issues (https://bugs.launchpad.net/oxide/+bug/1477222)
maybe related to another issue (#1384357)

*4. Misc.*

MH integration discussion: Justin working on the arbitrator API (done for
the MH side). Also will touch base with the MH team to give feedback on the
integration plan and seek a way to connect to the HW decoders in an Oxide
compatible way.

mapplauncherd discussion : accelerating the startup of Oxide apps is quite
different from QML, would required a dedicated booster shim; recommending
to test the HTML type with a Webview wrapped inside QML to get started
measuring performance gains.
