[Bug 1267948] [NEW] ack-grep can get blocked by files

Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 dev with ack-grep 2.12-1 and if the search is
performed against the "wrong" file (maybe a pipe or another input file)
the search will hang because the file does block. This is easily
reproducible if searching on /proc. For example the commands "ack-grep
'Test' /proc" and "ack-grep --ignore-ack-defaults 'Test' /proc" will
cause ack-grep to hang after ~1 second (the cpu time goes to 0% and
nothing happens anymore).

** Affects: ack-grep (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
