[Bug 1271388] [NEW] Building module IO::Socket::IP fails using cpanm under perlbrew on Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS amd64
Public bug reported:
On Ubuntu 12.04.3 amd64 using perlbrew and cpanm
IO::Socket::IP cannot be installed due to build errors.
Repeated attempts to ( cpanm IO::Socket::IP ) fail, even after
installing Ubuntu's pre-packaged libraries libio-socket-ip-perl, libio-
socket-inet-perl, libio-socket-multicast-perl, libio-socket-
multicast6-perl, libio-socket-ssl-perl, and libnet-ssleay-perl
I'm unsure of whether or not an additional argument needs to be passed
onto cpanm, if perlbrew needs additional configuration, or if there is
something wrong with the pre-packaged Ubuntu libraries.
Build log is attached showing tests that failed.
** Affects: libio-socket-ip-perl (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Attachment added: "Build Log"
