Oh... you are right the source of problem is not here! The computed rectangle is wrong:

iconRect= QRectF(0,0 0x0) 
iconRect.toRect= QRect(0,0 0x0) 
topLeft= QPointF(0, 0) 
m_rect= QRect(0,0 0x0) 
iconExtent= 0
