New question #266035 on qpdfview:

Every update resets /usr/share/applications/qpdfview.desktop
so if one e.g. sets without tabbing, 
Exec=qpdfview %F
the updates restore
Exec=qpdfview --unique %F
forcing the user to restore the preference

Once the preference in qpdfview.desktop is set so that files open in separate windows, this should remain with updates.  
Can you please look into it? Thanks
