Is it fine to use quickly-widgets in Gtk3+ code?

Hi everyone,

I am taking part in the Ubuntu App Showdown. In the live IRC session
yesterday, I was told not to use Quickly Widgets as they were written for
Gtk2+. Is this true? Or can I use these widgets in Gtk3+ as well?
