Re: How to do merges for software-specific code (ie Drizzle)

Patrick,

I would say that for stuff that is in Drizzle-specific files, such as the Drizzle Executor, Server object or grammars, you can push directly without having to do a merge proposal. I think you should already have rights to do that, if not, let me know. You are still welcome to use the review/merge system of launchpad for your internal purposes at Drizzle, that is, if you want someone internal to your company to do a review of your internal change.

For stuff that is in the core RQG, if it is a bug, let's do reviews. If it is about a feature or a design change, let's dicuss it on the mailing list before you start hacking away.

Thanks.

Subject: [Randgen] How to do merges for software-specific code (ie Drizzle)

Hi.

Sorry for another question, but I just wanted to see how you felt about
merges for software-specific code. For example, if I want to alter the
Drizzle Executor, would you prefer that I propose a merge and move that way,
or are such merges ok to just push?

Thanks,
Patrick
