Public bug reported:

We will want to support several serialization formats in the Parallax
API. Rather than having the application deal with it directly, it may
make sense to delegate it to a WSGI middleware (see
http://pypi.python.org/pypi/wsgiserialize/ ).

The first cut should support JSON.
