As I mentioned before, all progress for this bug depends entirely on
work done upstream, so as long there is no definitive fix there nothing
can happen for Ubuntu. You can ask your question here

Dejan, you can find a couple of patches in that bug report if you are
familiar with kernel compilation. If not, you can follow these
guidelines https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild , they
worked for me.
