Hi Kamal,

My problem: Brightness keys not reducing the brightness.

I have tried using the fix provided by you through the patches. I am not
able to see it working.

My configuration : Dell Studio 1558 + Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS \n \l

I see the following messages , when I use my brightness keys , even
after applying the fixes suggested:
