Message #32173
[Bug 696644] [NEW] --zimage option no longer working?
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kernel-package
I tried a make-kpkg with --zimage and it fails with:
cp: cannot stat `arch/x86/boot/bzImage': No such file or directory
I found a similar bug reported for debian here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=573330
I am currently trying the fix suggested in that report:
I found I could fix this problem by hacking the /usr/share/kernel-
package/ruleset/arches/amd64.mk file and changing the line which
unconditially says "target = bzImage" to "target =
vmlinuz".
