OK. And what company did you provide that notebook with the Vyatta
distribution and ROHC pre-installed?

Sorry, but I prefer not until I know more about the software you're
using.

You're using an unknown version of the ROHC library within an unknown
software developed by an unknown provider. Moreover the library was
probably modified by that provider. I cannot tell you how the software
behaves.

Don't get me wrong. There is no problem using the ROHC library in
separate software (except if the GPL license is infringed). In the
contrary, I encourage it. That's one of the objectives of the project.
However I cannot provide you support without additional information.

So, if you want help with your current setup, provide me the following
additional information:
 - the name/contact of the software provider,
 - the source code of the "rohc" application [1],
 - the modified source code of the ROHC library [1].

If you don't have the source code available, ask your software provider
about it. The provider cannot refuse to give it to you since the ROHC
library is published under the GPL license.

Regards,
Didier
