Hi Ryan,

The immediate motivation is to allow an education ministry to collect
data from remote schools that don't have a land line phone or internet
connection.  So, for example, the proof of concept demo I'm working on
will reply to an SMS query for the current total student enrollment.
Of course, once you have this working, adding different types of
messages is relatively trivial.

As far as when this might actually start landing in a SchoolTool
release, I don't know.
