It works for me too, I have a 0.9.21-0ubuntu3~~karmic~ubuntuaudiodev.
I am about to upgrade to a newer version, I hope it will work with
that one too.

I have Karmic but I have added a bunch of repos with dev versions of
pulse and the kernel.
