Public bug reported:

I installed screenlet from the repository.  At first it worked fine as I
added a few widgets, but then I noticed I lost use of the mouse.  I
could move the pointer around, but I could not click on anything.  The
keyboard seemed to work fine as I was able to do a Alt-F2 and tab to
start programs and was able to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to restart the OS.  When
I took all the screenlet widgets off the desktop I immediately got full
use of the mouse back until I tried to open up the screenlet manager and
received the same problem again.  I have now uninstalled screenlets and
have not received the problem since.

I am using an uptated Ubuntu 9.10.
