[Bug 514939] Re: Cannot run any script
Yes it can be frustrating, I really feel with you. But I cannot help you
on the doing level, since I do not have access to a real 64-Bit Windows
system.
1. there seems to be general problems with Sikuli X on 64-Bit or mixed
32-Bit/64-Bit systems. Is your Sikuli X IDE running on your system?
2. you should report a standalone fresh bug on that 64-Bit situation, so
that suggestions are not mixed up with 32-Bit (I have edited your 32-Bit
bug to be more general).
If I would have a chance to find a way to solve it, this would be my steps (I write it down for other people that might come here):
- be sure everything that references 10.2 stuff is removed
- create a bug free environment with Java, Jython and NetBeans, that runs plain Python scripts without any usage of Sikuli
- copy the libs directory and sikuli-script.jar to a path without whitespaces and use this in the following steps
- have only the two required entries in system path, that are needed to find the dll's that come with Sikuli X
path-to-your-Sikuli-X\libs
path-to-your-Java\jre6\bin (32-Bit)
- do not unjar, just use the sikuli-script.jar as is. Have a reference to it in the java class path and a reference to sikuli-script.jar\Lib in the python path
- try from sikuli.Sikuli import * in NetBeans
- look what happens and try to analyze/solve upcoming errors
