RaiMan proposed the following answer:
-- 1. currently it is not possible, to open files, that are not
applications. You have to open Visual Studio 2008 first (use the
appropriate Sikuli features) and then use keyboard and mouse actions to
tell VS2008 to open the relevant folder or document windows.
