what system?

what application?

"press buttons such as click ()" --- buttons in The IDE sidebar?

"press is the drop down boxes" --- what do you mean with "drop down
box"?

"the window closes" --- when taking a screenshot, the IDE window is
hidden, the screen gets gray transparent and you have to select a
screenarea with the mouse. Then the IDE window comes back. You can abort
the screenshot with right mouse click. But hopefully you are not talking
about that.
