Sikuli internally uses Jython 2.5.1, which might have this problem.

You can give Jython 2.5.2 a try:

Be aware, that in this case, the Sikuli IDE is no longer useable for
running the script (but you might try to get the IDE running with Jython
2.5.2 as well - I did not do that yet)
