[Bug 882183] Re: Application closes unexpectedly as soon as I select "exists" or "find".

 

I think you write your messages like everyone is familiar with your tool
set.  It was a JAVA error that only happened once.  Perhaps I should
have screen captured it, but I didn't keep it around while I went to
your website, created an account on Launchpad, and entered this ticket.
I have no idea about what Sikuli does and doesn't expect at startup or
what folders it accesses etc..   Initially I thought the problem might
have been with another security app. that is installed.

Per "Forget the executables .skl.":  What I want to be able to do is
automate some GUI tasks for a group of users who have very basic
computer skills, so I definitely would not want them to even see the
IDE.  I want to have icons on their desktop that they can click on to
launch a GUI task.   I would think that automation for business users
would by far be the most sought use of sikuli.

Really, is Sikuli for end users, IT users, IT users supporting end users
or what???  Is it a utility fit for consumption or is it just a research
project???

Bug description:
  I'm installed Sikuli X-1rc3 on Windows XP Professional SP3.
  Opened it and tried selecting "exists" and "find" from the left pane and the application suddenly closes.
